Pastor Hanson Drysdale
Pastor Hanson Drysdale began his Pastoral Leadership role in the NEC at the Jefferson Avenue Seventh-day Adventist Church in Rochester, NY in February of 2018 after serving as Associate Pastor at the Shelter Rock Church in Queens, NY from 2017-2018.
Prior to his ministerial work for the Northeastern Confer-ence, Pastor Drysdale served in the East Jamaica Conference
as District Pastor, Evangelist, School Board Chairman and an advocate for community involvement . He also served as Youth Ministries and Chaplaincy Director from 2010-2014, where he initiated and launched a number of youth programs which include, Youth District Impact, Youth Awards Banquet and restructuring key operational areas within his local Youth Ministries Department.
Pastor Drysdale is happily married to Andrea, who is an Environmental Health Officer. They are the proud parents of 17 year old, Hanson Drysdale III.
His goal, under the leading of the Holy Spirit, is to lead everyone to experience a personal and transforming relationship with Jesus Christ, harness and utilize the gifts and talents among the wide spectrum of individuals within the church, geared at forging a greater synergy between church and community thereby providing better opportunities for evangelism.
Pastor Hanson Drysdale enjoys preaching the Word, visiting his members and interacting with people. He lives by the inspired words found in 2 Timothy 1:7, " For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind".
